SAFB - Viva Bien/Live Well with Diabetes

The "SAFB - Viva Bien/Live Well with Diabetes" is a FREE, BILINGUAL Lifestyle Education Initiative of the SAFB Nutrition, Health & Wellness Division offered three times a year from the third week of March to the second week of November (March 22nd to March 8th, 2017). The nine week curriculum covers a variety of Nutrition, Health and Wellness topics with strong focus on Healthy Cooking and Exercise to better manage Diabetes Type-2 or prevent it. Every class include at least 3 Hands-on Cooking Demonstrations and participants receive incentives for knowledge gained and intention to cook healthier at home. Participants are encouraged to bring their spouses or other family members along!
